• Hyper-Detailed Sandbox Locations: Explore six massive, living, breathing environments filled with opportunities. Each map is a complex puzzle box, packed with hundreds of NPCs, intricate security systems, and countless ways to execute your plan.
• Improvisation is Key: There is no script. Use everything in the environment to your advantage. Rig “accidents,” poison drinks, blend into crowds, or cause distractions. Your creativity is your deadliest tool.
• New Ways to Play: Hitman 2 introduced new mechanics to the trilogy, including the ability to blend into crowds, hide in foliage, and use the iconic briefcase to conceal illegal items (like your sniper rifle) in plain sight.

New Modes, Endless Replayability

• Sniper Assassin: A fully co-op, standalone mode (also playable solo) where you must eliminate targets and their bodyguards from a distance using only your sniper rifle, all while creating chain reactions and “accidents.”
• Elusive Targets: High-stakes, limited-time contracts. You get only one chance to take down a unique target. Track them down, plan your kill, and execute it flawlessly. There are no second chances.
• Contracts & Escalations: Play community-created contracts or tackle developer-made Escalation challenges that add new, increasingly difficult complications to each map.
