FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is the highly anticipated second entry in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE project, a reimagining of the iconic fantasy RPG that redefined the genre in three distinct games. After escaping the dystopian city of Midgar, Cloud Strife and his friends—Barret, Tifa, Aerith, and Red XIII—embark on a globe-spanning adventure in pursuit of the fallen hero, Sephiroth.

This is a standalone adventure that welcomes both fans and newcomers. You are no longer confined to the steel sky of the city; the world of Gaia is vast, vibrant, and filled with danger.

An Expansive World

• Freedom to Explore: Traverse a seamless, massive open world. Ride Chocobos across grassy plains, pilot the Tiny Bronco across the ocean, and explore iconic locations like the military fortress of Junon, the resort town of Costa del Sol, and the glimmering Gold Saucer.

• Side Content: The world is dense with discovery. Engage in hundreds of side quests (“Odd Jobs”), hunt rare fiends for Chadley’s combat simulator, and uncover protorelics that reveal the planet’s deepest secrets.

Evolved Combat

• Synergy Abilities: The acclaimed battle system evolves further. Combine the real-time action and command-based strategy with new Synergy Skills and Synergy Abilities. Pair two characters together (like Cloud and Sephiroth, or Tifa and Aerith) to unleash devastating synchronized attacks that can turn the tide of battle.

• Playable Party: Master the unique fighting styles of new playable characters, including the ninja Yuffie Kisaragi, the robotic feline Cait Sith, and the beast Red XIII.
