Tame and Command a Prehistoric Army

The heart of ARK is its incredible taming system. Over 100 different creatures can be captured and tamed through a challenging process of knockout and care. Once tamed, these creatures become your loyal companions.

• Ride and Fly: Soar through the skies on the back of a Pteranodon, race across the plains on a high-speed Raptor, or stomp through the jungle on a mighty T-Rex.
• Hunt and Gather: Use your dinosaurs to harvest resources more efficiently, from a Triceratops that can clear a forest of berries to an Ankylosaurus that can shatter rocks for metal.
• Breed for the Best: Breed generations of creatures to combine the best traits and create the ultimate prehistoric pets.

From Primitive Survivor to TEK Warrior

Your journey is one of immense technological progression. Start by crafting a simple stone pick and a thatch hut. As you level up and learn new “Engrams,” you’ll advance from the stone age to the modern age and beyond, eventually crafting futuristic TEK armor, weapons, and structures powered by a mysterious element.

Build Your Fortress, Form Your Tribe

Construct a massive base, starting with wood and stone, and eventually reinforcing it with metal. On a live server, you are not alone. Team up with other players to form a “Tribe,” allowing you to share resources, tamed creatures, and respawn points. Work together to build thriving villages, or wage all-out war against other tribes, using your dinosaurs as devastating siege weapons.
