You are Jesse Faden, a woman with a troubled past, drawn to a secretive government building in New York known only as the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC).

You arrive to find the Bureau in chaos, under attack from an otherworldly, reality-bending force known only as the Hiss. In a bizarre ritual, you are appointed the new Director. Now, you must explore the FBC’s shifting, brutalist headquarters, harness powerful supernatural abilities, and fight back against the Hiss to restore order and uncover the secrets the Bureau has hidden from the world.

Step inside the Oldest House, a place that is vastly larger on the inside and constantly shifting. This building is the game world—a vast, Metroidvania-style environment where reality itself is unstable.

• A Shifting World: Explore a sprawling, brutalist skyscraper where architecture contorts and reconfigures itself. Discover hidden areas, solve environmental puzzles, and unlock new pathways as you cleanse corrupted “Control Points.”
• Uncover Dark Secrets: The FBC was dedicated to studying and containing supernatural phenomena. Dive deep into its lore by finding redacted documents, bizarre case files, and unsettling multimedia logs that piece together the terrifying truth.

Wield Supernatural Powers

To fight the Hiss, you must master a devastating arsenal of supernatural abilities.

• Telekinesis (Launch): The world is your weapon. Rip pieces of the environment from walls and floors and hurl them at your enemies with destructive force.
• Levitate: Gain the power of flight to soar across vast chasms, reach new areas, and rain down destruction from above.
• Shield & Seize: Create a shield from debris to block incoming fire, or turn weakened enemies into your allies, forcing them to fight for you.

Command the Service Weapon

Your primary firearm is the Service Weapon, a supernatural Object of Power that can shapeshift into multiple forms. Transform it on the fly from a precise pistol (Grip) to a devastating shotgun (Shatter), a rapid-fire submachine gun (Spin), a long-range sniper (Pierce), and a grenade launcher (Surge).
