Praise the Lamb! In this darkly adorable, action-roguelike adventure, you are a possessed lamb, saved from annihilation by a mysterious and powerful stranger known as “The One Who Waits.” Your life is spared, but at a price: you must build a loyal cult in his name and repay your debt.
Start your own cult in a land of false prophets, venturing out into diverse and mysterious regions. Build a loyal community of woodland Followers, spread your Word to become the one true cult, and destroy the rival prophets of the Old Faith.
Two Games in One: Crusade & Cultivate
Your life is a balance between two distinct yet interconnected gameplay loops:
- 1. Destroy the Non-Believers (Action Roguelike): Embark on crusades into a sprawling, randomly generated world. Explore five unique regions, battle hordes of heretics and rival cult leaders, and collect resources, new weapons, and “Tarot Card” perks that change your abilities on every run. Absorb the power of the Bishops you defeat and grow stronger.
- 2. Build Your Flock (Base Management): Return to your village and indoctrinate your new followers.
- Manage Your Cult: Keep your followers faithful and happy. Perform dark rituals to appease the gods, give sermons to gain power, cook food to prevent starvation, and build shelters to keep them warm.
- Maintain Order: Your followers have needs. Clean up after them (or build an outhouse!), tend to the sick, and give them jobs like farming, building, or praying at your shrine to generate devotion.
- Deal with Dissenters: Not all followers will be loyal. Re-educate non-believers, or make them a public example through sacrifice or other dark rituals.
