The wasteland is your workshop. Collect, upgrade, and build thousands of items with the most advanced crafting system ever. Weapons, armor, chemicals, and food are just the beginning. You can even build and manage entire settlements. Scavenge for scrap, construct buildings, set up defenses, manage resources, and attract other survivors to create a new bastion of civilization.

Be S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and Fight Smart

Develop your own playstyle with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. character system. Whether you become a charismatic smooth talker, a power-armored soldier, or a sneaky infiltrator, you can choose from hundreds of Perks to customize your abilities. Intense first- or third-person combat can be slowed down with the dynamic Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System (V.A.T.S.), allowing you to choose your attacks and enjoy cinematic carnage.
